I’ve loved desserts my entire life. I grew up on my grandma’s cakes, my mom’s holiday cookies, and every family recipe that came out of our kitchen. As I got older, I realized the obvious: sugar, fat, and calories add up fast — and the way I was eating didn’t match the fitness goals I wanted.
In 2020–2021, I started tracking calories seriously. I learned how high-calorie most desserts actually are, and that if I wanted sweets to stay in my life, I had to find a smarter way to make them. That’s when I started experimenting with low-calorie, macro-friendly versions of the desserts I grew up loving.
By that time, a business I started in 2014 had grown into a successful, established dog daycare and spa in DC. Building that business made something clear: I genuinely enjoy creating identities, developing brands, and shaping businesses so they feel cohesive and intentional.
BakedLean came from that same mindset. It began as a hobby — something I created for myself because I wanted dessert to fit my calories and fitness goals without giving it up. People started making the recipes, losing weight, and telling me it helped them. That’s when it became something worth developing further.
No extremes. No restriction. Just better ingredient choices and recipes that make the process easier.
This brand is a blend of where I came from — family baking traditions — and where I am now: someone who wants to stay fit, feel good, and still enjoy food. If you want dessert to fit your life without blowing your calories, macros, or routine, you’re in the right place.

I’ve spent years experimenting with lower-calorie, higher-protein baking because I needed it for myself. I track everything, test multiple versions of every recipe, and only share what works.
I understand macros, calorie density, substitutions, and how to take normal desserts and make them lighter without ruining the taste or texture. I’ve turned this into a repeatable system, not a lucky accident.
If you want recipes that allow you to enjoy what you love and still hit your calorie goals, stick around and lets have some fun! Oh, and subscribe to the newsletter 🙂
