Apple Pie Yogurt Bowl Tips & Expert Strategy

TEXTURE & MOUTHFEEL: The goal is a contrast between the thick, cold yogurt and the tender, warm apples. The cereal should provide a sharp, flakey crunch like a pie crust.
TEMPERATURE CONTRAST: Do not let the apples sit in the pan too long after cooking; you want them hot when they hit the cold yogurt to create that signature melting effect.
THE MELLOWING EFFECT: While the cereal gets soggy fast, the sautéed apples actually taste better after sitting for 10 minutes as the cinnamon flavor deeply penetrates the fruit.
PROFESSIONAL FINISHING TOUCH: Serve this with a tiny pinch of flaky sea salt over the honey-sautéed apples to make the sweetness pop and balance the tartness of the yogurt.
