Ingredients

  • 60 g FitFlour
  • 30 g Whey/Casein protein powder PE Science recommended
  • 15 g Cocoa powder
  • 20 g Sugar alternative monk fruit or erythritol
  • 45 g Liquid egg whites
  • 120 g Unsweetened apple sauce
  • 30 g Reese’s peanut butter chips
  • 1 g Salt
  • 2 g Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Chia seeds or ground flaxseeds Optional boost

Method

  1. Set your air fryer to 325°F (163°C) and allow it to preheat while you prepare the batter.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the FitFlour, protein powder, cocoa powder, sugar alternative, salt, and baking powder. Ensure there are no clumps.
  3. Add the liquid egg whites and apple sauce to the dry mixture. Stir until a thick, scoopable dough forms.
  4. Gently fold in the peanut butter chips (and chia/flaxseeds if using) until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  5. Using a small cookie scoop, portion the dough into 12 balls and place them on parchment paper. Lightly round them with your hands if needed.
  6. Place balls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring space between them. Air fry at 325°F for 12–14 minutes until the outside is set.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving to allow the centers to set.
