  • 1 cup fruit juice 100% juice, no added sugar

  1. Pour 1 cup of cold water into a mixing bowl and sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the top. Let it sit completely undisturbed for 5-10 minutes to bloom.

  3. Pour the hot juice over the bloomed gelatin mixture and stir continuously with a spatula until the gelatin has completely dissolved and the liquid is clear.
  4. Pour the mixture into an 8x8 glass dish or similar container.
  5. Refrigerate uncovered for at least 3-4 hours or until the gelatin is entirely firm and set.
  6. Cut into uniform cubes and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

Gelatin Recipe For Weight Loss Tips & Expert Strategy

TEXTURE/MOUTHFEEL: These cubes are far firmer than traditional boxed gelatin. They should have a dense, bouncy bite that holds its shape entirely at room temperature, making them a satisfying, protein-forward snack.
SUBSTITUTION WARNING: Never use fresh pineapple, kiwi, or papaya juice for this recipe. These specific fruits contain enzymes that break down protein and will prevent the gelatin from ever setting. You must use pasteurized juice.
THE MELLOWING EFFECT: While these are ready to eat in a few hours, the flavor actually deepens and the structural set becomes more resilient if left in the fridge overnight.
PROFESSIONAL FINISHING TOUCH: To get perfectly clean, bakery-style cubes, quickly dip the bottom of your glass dish in hot water for 5 to 10 seconds before slicing; this gently warms the bottom and releases the cubes so they pop out cleanly.
