Ingredients
  

  • 1 can no sugar added cherry pie filling 20-21 oz
  • 1/2 box sugar-free yellow cake mix 7-8 oz
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder ~1/2 cup
  • 1 can crushed pineapple in juice 8 oz, undrained
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 60g

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
  2. Spread cherry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  3. Combine cake mix, protein powder, undrained pineapple, milk, and vanilla in a bowl.
  4. Fold in walnuts and spread the batter over the cherries.
  5. Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden. Stir topping midway for best results.
