Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Lily's Sugar Free Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder about 1/4 cup / 30g
  • 1 cup protein puffs

Method

  1. Line a small loaf pan or container with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  3. Whisk the chocolate protein powder into the melted chocolate until fully combined. If the mixture seems too thick, stir in 1–2 teaspoons of coconut oil or neutral oil until smooth.

  5. Scoop and roll into balls.
  6. Refrigerate for 30–45 minutes, or until completely firm.

High-Protein Chocolate Crunch Truffles Tips & Expert Strategy

TEXTURE NOTE: These should have a firm, snappy chocolate exterior with a crisp, crunchy center, completely different from a soft pudding.
SUBSTITUTION WARNING: Using 100% whey may make the texture drier or chalkier when mixing into the melted chocolate.
BETTER LATER: These are best after chilling because the chocolate firms up and locks in the crunch.
SERVING TIP: Serve cold directly out of the fridge for the maximum chocolate snap.
