  • 1/2 cup fat-free milk
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ground cinnamon to taste

  4. Cook each slice for approximately 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Use medium-low heat so the protein custard cooks through without browning too quickly. Whisk the protein powder thoroughly and avoid oversoaking the bread.
Nutrition: Estimated for all three slices and assumes approximately 75% of the egg-and-protein custard is absorbed. Values use representative labels for Nature’s Own Life Protein Loaf, large eggs, fat-free milk, and vanilla whey protein powder. Toppings and cooking spray are excluded. Nutrition varies by brand, absorption, and portion size. For closer tracking, weigh the leftover custard after soaking.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
