High Protein Wendy’s Frosty Dupe

A thick, spoonable chocolate treat packed with 50g of protein that replicates the drive-thru classic without the added sugars.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 whole frozen banana
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder whey/casein blend preferred
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp monk fruit sweetener
  • 1-2 tbsp water or milk only if needed to help blend

Method
 

  1. Place the ice cubes, Greek yogurt, and frozen banana slices into the blender cup first.
  2. Add the chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, and monk fruit sweetener on top of the frozen wet base.
  3. Blend on high speed for 45 to 60 seconds until a thick, frosty texture forms with no visible ice chunks.
  4. Pour immediately into a glass and serve cold with a spoon.

TEXTURE NOTE: This frosty should spin thick and creamy, not light and fluffy. It is meant to be eaten with a spoon rather than a straw.
SUBSTITUTION WARNING: Using 100% whey may make the texture drier, chalkier, or cause it to separate into foam quickly. A whey/casein blend holds the thick structure much better.
BETTER LATER / STORAGE NOTE: This recipe does not store well in the fridge or freezer. Consume immediately as it will melt down into liquid or freeze into solid ice.
SERVING TIP: Serve in a pre-chilled glass to prevent the edges from melting too fast while you eat it.
