Ingredients

  • 12 corn tortilla
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil spray
  • 3 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutritional yeast

Method

  1. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice each tortilla into 6 triangles (chip shapes).
  2. Mist both sides of the tortilla triangles with olive or avocado oil spray—just enough to help the seasoning adhere.
  3. In a small bowl, combine ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and nutritional yeast (if using).
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning evenly over the oiled tortilla triangles and toss gently to coat.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Arrange chips in a single layer and air fry for 7–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway. Work in 2–3 batches to avoid overcrowding. Chips should be golden and crisp.
  6. Transfer chips to a wire rack and let cool 5 minutes to finish crisping. Serve immediately or store once fully cool.

Notes

White corn tortillas give a lighter color and classic Doritos vibe. Flavor twists: add 2 tbsp grated Parmesan or 2 tbsp nutritional yeast for Cheesy Ranch; 1/2 tsp cayenne for Spicy Ranch; or lime zest after air frying for Zesty Lime Ranch. Storage: once fully cool, keep in an airtight container at room temperature up to 2 days; re‑crisp 1–2 minutes in the air fryer if needed.
