Notes

No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies Tips & Expert Strategy

TEXTURE NOTE: These cookies set firm on wax paper with a fudge-like chew from the quick oats and peanut butter.
BOIL TIME MATTERS: Keep the syrup mixture at a rolling boil for a full minute on the stove. Boiling too short leaves them soft and sticky, while boiling too long makes them dry and crumbly.
OAT SELECTION: Use quick oats rather than old-fashioned rolled oats so the warm syrup absorbs evenly and softens the grains as they cool.
STORAGE TIP: Store these in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or chill them in the fridge if you prefer a firmer bite.
